There is a lot to recap from last month and a lot going on.

During Earth Month there were student pitch competitions around the region. There was the Destination Decarbonization Challenge where students pitched ideas at the Fresno State Wet Center. The Carlsen Center at Sac State also held two events. The Circular Economy Challenge, which saw Ag Gen take home $20,000 prize, and the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition. WhereEV, a startup matching EV owners with charging, won the Innovation & Entrepreneurship Competition and now gets to go on to a wider statewide competition.

We also have a host of events coming up. Our Next Meetup is on the Grid at the CMC and we return to Lucid Winery for our Power Up Networking event. StartupSac also has Pitch Elk Grove next week. Get them all on your calendar!
