And lastly, we've rounded up the latest clean tech news in our region so you can stay up-to-date! All the details are below.
2019 CT Showcase Recap
2019 Clean Tech Showcase
After a five year pause, the Clean Tech Showcase came back with a bang on October 9. We had a great turnout with over 150 attendees and 18 up-and-coming companies from the area had exhibits and made pitches. The highlight of the show was having all the attendees act like venture capitalists. Everyone was given a “fund” to invest in the form of coins they could drop in the jars at the exhibits of the companies they liked best. The four with the most money collected at the end of the day were RePurpose Energy, NeoCharge, and BoxPower, with Sierra Energy being named the Grand Prize winner.  All of companies got over 45 coins each, with Sierra Energy getting 67! Waterhound Futures adds intelligence to water and waste treatment plants with a web-based software-as-a-service tool to help eliminate contamination of freshwater caused by untreated wastewater at source, by providing real time data collection, monitoring, and predictive decision tools. Decision tools eliminate traditional methods of wastewater management.  Read the full story on our blog
