Join us on Dec. 5th for an information session to learn more about he Defense Microelectronics Activity (DMEA), located in McClellan, CA, which is a Federal Research & Development (R&D) laboratory facility established in March 1997 by the Deputy Secretary of Defense as the Department of Defense (DoD) Center for microelectronics technology, acquisition, transformation, and support. DMEA is the DoD’s leading authority on microelectronics and executes its mission to provide vital parts and services in innovative ways to meet the needs of the DoD.

DMEA also purchases engineering and other technical consulting services; electronics and semiconductor-related device manufacturing; software, software maintenance and licenses; laboratory, scanner, test, and x-ray equipment; construction: lab and facilities upgrades; and facilities support services: landscape maintenance, janitorial, security, plumbing, HVAC, roofing, painting, etc., in support of its mission.

Small businesses that provide the products and services that DMEA procures and are interested in learning more about its SBIR/STTR Program are encouraged to attend this one-hour workshop to learn more about DMEA and how to do business with them.
