1 Million Cups is a weekly founder forum providing a supportive, inclusive space for entrepreneurs and their communities to gather and connect, where they can work through business challenges and identify opportunities. We will hear from two entrepreneurs as they present their business and gain feedback from a community of supporters and peers.

Forward Cities expert facilitators will offer the Ecosystem Building 101 training for entrepreneurial support organizations and champions from across the community. The interactive session will feature an overview of ABIDE — Forward Cities anti-racism training — and an introduction to the best practices of the Forward Cities E3 Model: Asset-Mapping, Assessment, Alignment, Action, Advocacy, and Amplification.

REFLECT | Assessing the Health & Equity of Our Ecosystem
You are invited to provide direct input in this interactive session that provides an assessment of the equity health of our local ecosystem here in the Sacramento region utilizing Forward Cities' E3 Scorecard tool. Results will spark real-time facilitated small group discussions that will identify emerge strategic priorities for collective change.

CONNECT | Town Hall: Listening to our Entrepreneurs
Join this interactive Town Hall-style discussion led by Forward Cities and local entrepreneurs. The session will highlight the successes and challenges of the Sacramento region’s diverse entrepreneurs and small business owners. It will kick off with a short keynote address by Forward Cities President and CEO Fay Horwitt to inspire attendees with a vision of what is possible when the Sacramento region can effectively transform the way it views, resources, and supports every entrepreneur.
