EVs@Pavilion & Transportation Fair

Mark your calendar now for the electric vehicle showcase, “EVs @ the Pavilion and Transportation Fair” on Sunday, September 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The event will be held at Davis’s Central Park Farmers Market Pavilion. The showcase, which is part of the 2022 National Drive Electric Week (NDEW) activities, is hosted by the Davis Electric Vehicle Association, Cool Davis, SacEV, and the City of Davis.
Last year’s NDEW showcase featured lots of EV models, and we expect even more vehicles this year. Some of the latest EVs will be on display, including, the Mustang Mach-E, VW ID.4, Hyundai Ioniq 5, Hyundai Kona, Tesla Roadster, Tesla Model S Plaid, Tesla Model 3, Chevrolet Bolt and Volt, and Nissan Leaf, along with several plug-in hybrid EVs.
E-trucks may be today’s hottest EV segment, and we’ll be displaying the Rivian R1T and Ford E-Transit van. The New Flyer Xcelsior CHARGE, Unitrans’ new electric bus, will also be on display, as will E-motorcycles and E-bikes.
The best part of this event is talking to EV owners about life with an electric vehicle and discovering why EVs are so much fun to drive. Experts will be available to answer your questions, including, “What are the current tax credits and incentives?” and “How do I find used EVs for sale?”
If you would like to bring your EV for display and haven’t already notified us, contact us at deva@cooldavis.org and tell us your vehicle’s year, make, and model. We’re especially interested in displaying a Kia EV6, Polestar 2, and Ford F-150 Lightning. If you own one or know someone who does, please contact us. Interested in volunteering for the event?
