StartUp Saturday with Cal Poly Humboldt

The Cal Poly Humboldt Entrepreneurs Club is excited to offer Cal Poly Humboldt’s first StartUp Saturday ever and our first start-up event since COVID.
Our event kicks off Friday evening January 26, 2024 (5 pm to 9 pm) with a mixer, dinner and talks/workshops. Friday night will get everyone ready for the main event which is on Saturday, January 27 (8 am to 8 pm). We will start off on Saturday with a light breakfast and business pitches (those who want to pitch). Teams will form around the top pitches. The teams will then spend the rest of the day researching the pitched business idea, developing a business model canvas for the idea, creating a minimum viable product, meeting with mentors, prototyping and testing their idea, and pivoting as necessary. The event culminates with pitches to a judging panel.
